CH Products officially started on 12-20-2020. CH Products is a small, family run business with Christian morals and beliefs. We are based in Cypress, Texas and our product manufacturing is in Fort Worth, Texas. Our products are 100% AMERICAN made! Our premier product is The 360° Tree Stabilizer.
The idea for The 360° Tree Stabilizer came to me in 2014 when I wanted to plant a new tree in my own yard, however, the corner of my yard was the bus stop for over 20 elementary kids. Some kids would come to the bus stop on skateboards, others on bicycles, and many would play ball in my yard while waiting to get on the bus. I had to come up with a different way to stake a tree, their safety was one of my primary concerns. The traditional way of staking a tree using a metal T-post installed by the neighborhood home builder was ugly, unsafe, hard to trim around and VERY hard to remove. I knew I had to do away with the guideline wires and I didn't want the metal T-post top exposed for fear that someone would impale themselves on it. With these things in mind, The 360˚Tree Stabilizer, was born!
I designed the first 360° Tree Stabilizer using PVC and zip ties. It did the job and was very safe. Several years later during the COVID shut down I found myself with a lot of time on my hands. I decided to see if anyone else thought that my idea was good. I hired a design engineer to help me write a program to print The 360° Stabilizers on a 3D printer so that I could make samples to share with people to try and tell me what they thought about it. I met a man who was challenged with planting over 2,000 trees next to a newly built highway for the Texas Department of Transportation. I showed him how it worked and how easy it was to install. His response was, “Can I get 2,000 of these by the end of the week?” That was all I needed to confirm my belief that The 360° Tree Stabilizer is a needed product.
I spent the next 2 years consulting with tree growers, landscape architects, and landscape companies, making many adjustments to The 360° Stabilizer based on their recommendations. I tested many prototypes until I finally ended up with a strong and easy to install, no touch tree support system that is cost efficient, supports root growth, protects the trunk, will work on any kind of stake, and is visually appealing. The 360° Tree Stabilizer does it all!
